Batman 66’ #12 Review –“The Clock Is Ticking.”

Story

After capturing The Mad Hatter, Batman and Robin discovered that someone has been tinkering with the clock tower in London. It turns out to be The Clock King! So, will they stop Clock King’s evil-doing?

The Good

I felt this issue was just simple, nothing really spectacular went on. It still had good art and use of digital features.

The Bad

This issue was the typical good guys goes after bad guys and wins story which was the main problem. There were no funny jokes anywhere and Batman and Robin had no struggles to fight. It was just all too easy. They didn’t add anything to The Clock King besides being Mad Hatter’s brother which doesn’t change anything. It just became too boring with this story.

Verdict

I give this issue a 3/7 out of 5/10 stars. It’s a simple boring story with nothing exciting happening. You probably won’t miss anything if you skip this book. But if you do it won’t be a total waste because this story isn’t terrible. It’s just too simple.
