Story
We discover the recent ramification of President Dazzler’s
death caused the Future X-Men to come to the present time. Meanwhile, Magik,
Iceman and Beast travel to the future to discover other X-Men.
The Good
This is another amazing issue where we discovering more
interesting versions of characters in the future. I really like the take on why
the future x-men have come here. It was also nice to see what could have been
for Dazzler to be President. There are some pretty interesting characters here
like Jubilee as the new Wolverine, an Iron Man Sentinel and Shogo as
Cloak? The art is still looking good
with nice coloring. What’s the definitely good here is the dialogue with all the
characters.
The Bad
It’s great we get to see great versions of X-Men characters
but sadly we didn’t get to know anything them. It just bothered me that we got
to know so much about the other future x-men we didn’t get to know any about
theses X-Men. I just kind of wished we knew how these x-men characters got to
this point. It’s so disappointing that we don’t even know Iron Man Sentinel’s
name. I also felt they went through the panels a little too quickly.
Verdict
I gave this issue a 4/9 out of 5/10 stars. It’s another
great issue from Bendis’ All-New X-Men run. It had great dialogue and we to
learn more about why the future X-Men are here. Plus, we got see more versions
of x-men characters. But sadly we didn’t know anything about them. But besides
that is a really great issue and I recommend picking this up.
